The Pyramids of Teotihuacan

Not far from Mexico City are the ruins of the great city of Teotihuacan. The ancient city covers a great area and the pyramids are plenty high. The two large pyramids represent the sun and moon and were begun in the first century AD. It was an impressive sight to see, and probably would have been more awe inspiring were it not for all of the vendors and their cheesy souvenirs.

The first sights of the Pyramids are only seen once you get by the venders, and then they are still there to hawk their trinkets.

At the top of the tallest pyramid there was a butterfly that was flying around and kept landing on my head. People on all sides of me had a great time taking pictures of my new friend.
